Futurowoman Fotographie is the vision of Nancy L. Stockdale
With my photographs, I aim to capture beauty that often goes unnoticed in the world, and am particularly fond of using toy and vintage cameras as a way to impart a sense of wonder and historical perspective to my subjects. I hope that you will enjoy browsing through my images and will appreciate the subtle nature of common scenes and objects in our world each and every day.

I am a self-taught photographer who loves to use Polaroid, vintage, toy, and Lomographic cameras. Although I work with digital images and love their immediacy, my favorite photographs come from my beloved analogue cameras. When I'm not behind the lens, I'm a university professor of Middle Eastern history. I believe that my fascination with, and respect for, the past has greatly influenced my photography, for I appreciate the flaws and subtle charms of vintage cameras, and am well aware of the enduring power of images that capture fleeting moments.
